I have been unwell

Sorry I haven't posted the last instalment of a sermon, nor had much time to do much here. I have been struggling with another kidney stone all week. Yes that is right a whole week. The pain got so bad on Wednesday night that I had to go to the hospital.

I learned a few things in the process:

Footscray hospital is filled with very competant and helpful people.

Morphine really works as a pain killer, but it doesn't feel like a jacuzzi in your body like I have been told.

I wasn't having a kidney stone I was having two, I should give birth to twins any day now.

Anyways, being on a bit of codeine, it didn't seem wise or appropriate to try and explain my last sermon for you. I will do so tomorrow I hope.

don't forget the coloxy and senna or you may be in real trouble, codine has the same properties as cement mix.

Damn, sorry to hear it.
Mom mentioned that they were giving you morphine so I knew it had to be pretty serious. Twins. Ouch!
I don't remember if I posted this before. Bryna's sister Lydia has gone through birth and kidney stones. She says kidney stones were more painful.
Hope they figure out how to make them stop.

Wishing you a fast recovery, John. I'm sure your level of fitness will help.

Oh, when I was in the video store today (a rare event), I overheard a little boy, 5 - 6 years old, saying, "When I grow up I'm going to kill people". He said it repeatedly. His father just ignored him.

I gave him your address, Rev. You're probably safe for 12 years.

Praying for you Rev! Hope you feel better soon! I can't quite fathom the pain - not sure if it like appendicitis (which I had) but none-the-less I empathize with you!
Blessings and peace to you bro!

gave birth to a beautiful little stone a few days ago, apparently his brother is still traveling. Yesterday I experienced a bit of pain, but for the most part I am doing pretty well.

Congratulations.
And I've been thinking about the morphine. You know, when you need a drug it's likely to affect you differently. I think you'll need to hang on to a dose and take it later when you're feeling in the pink if you want the warm bath sensation.

I was high as a kite on some Valium that the dentist gave me. It felt great until that creep started yankin' the teeth out of my head. Drained that bath right then and there.
