Except that even the way we ask the questions can be prescriptive (because it reveals our biases etc)...I do think that asking questions is usually the best way to go though.

Good to hear your health is ok. Where a positive would be more prescriptive, like communism, different styles but a very specific response. With the anarchy and pacifism, we wind up with questions, how can we live together in more sustainable ways? Maybe a common purse, maybe a collective farm, maybe doing urban gardens, and found object art sales, and squatting.

revjohn jensenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01152784582419753697noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9706995.post-52951733354074654912007-09-12T23:43:00.000-07:002007-09-12T23:43:00.000-07:00Hey Rev,Ciaron's cool, eh? It's several years since I read it, but if my memory serves me correctly, it's really good - I remember being really inspired by the creativity of the ways in which people protested against Australia's involvement in East Timor.

I'm not sure I like seeing pacifism and anarchy just in terms of 'negatives'...I don't want to just ask how I can avoid violence, and how I can avoid oppression...I want to know how I can combat violence and combat oppression, how I can build a better world...I didn't hear Ciaron talk so I'm just engaging in your version of what he said here, obviously. Your thoughts??

I hope there's nothing too serious happening with your health.Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02456121582722875862noreply@blogger.com
